Alli Data Explorer lets teams build custom columns with a formula or Ask Alli

FORT WORTH, Texas, July 13, 2026: Custom columns are now available in Alli Data Explorer, part of Alli, PMG's operating system for business transformation. Teams can build their own dimensions and metrics directly inside Data Explorer, either by writing the formula themselves or by describing what they want to Ask Alli, which builds it for them.

A new metric used to wait on a datasource or model update. Now you add the column yourself, in seconds, and keep exploring.

How it works

• Write the formula. Analysts who know the math they want can define the column directly.
• Or describe it. Tell Ask Alli what you need in plain language, and it builds the column.
• Keep going. The new column is ready in the same view, so the analysis doesn't stop for a data request.
