Alli Data Explorer adds custom metrics and target comparisons through Ask Alli
Analysts and marketers can compare performance to plan without rebuilding it in a spreadsheet.
FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 6, 2026: Teams using Alli Data Explorer, the self-service analytics environment in Alli, PMG's operating system for business transformation, can now create custom metrics with chat prompts in Ask Alli. They can also upload outside data to compare against targets and format insights for clearer analysis.
Comparing performance to a plan used to mean exporting the data and rebuilding it in a spreadsheet. Now you describe the metric, upload the targets, and see how performance stacks up against them in Data Explorer.
What teams get
- Metrics from a prompt. Describe the metric you need in plain language, and Ask Alli creates it.
- Targets alongside actuals. Upload outside data, such as a plan, and compare performance to it without leaving Alli.
- Clearer insights. Format the results so the takeaway is easy to read and share.
